Dream’s Fans Outraged After Addison Rae Receives Merch

Clay, also known as Dream is an American gaming YouTuber and Minecraft speedrunner known for his skill at the game Minecraft. He has recently joined the popular Among Us hype and has been competing with other popular content creators like MrBeast, Corpse husband, and Pewdiepie. His channel is one of the fastest-growing channels in the history of YouTube, gaining over 13 million subscribers on the platform.

However, it seems like some of the fans of Dream got furious when the social media star Addison Rae revealed that Youtuber Dream sent her a merch and it contains the youtubers’ now iconic figure logo. Addison Rae is a social media personality, dancer, and an actress. Few months ago, Addison was under fire when she was accused of racism amidst the Black Lives Matter movement. Some fans of Youtuber Dream seem to not like and have become uncomfortable with what Dream has done as they quickly got frustrated and they began flooding Addison Rae’s tiktok comments section. Some fans were telling her to get away with Dream and many have qouted Addison’s problematic past as the reason for their discomfort as they are calling her a racist and a homophobic.

They clearly highlighted their disappointment in certain parts of the community for the attacks on Addison. However, Youtuber Dream further responds on twitter that those criticising fans’ behavior was embarrassing and no one should do that because it makes him uncomfortable. There are several sides to this debate, but it’s clear that Addison and Dream themselves are looking to foster a good relationship as they didn’t agree with the outburst of criticism.
