Dream Is Nominated For Content Creator Of The Year

Popular minecraft youtuber Dream has been nominated for The Game Awards 2021’s “Content Creator of the Year” category. This comes about a month after he was nominated for “Creator of the Year” at the 11th Annual Streamy Awards, where he won the Gaming award in 2020.

The Game Awards are the equivalent of the Oscars in the gaming industry. These awards, which were established in 2014, aim to honor the best in gaming each year. Ninja, Shroud, and Valkyrae have all won the prestigious “Content Creator of the Year” award in the past.

Dream was pleased to be one of the first Minecraft YouTubers to be nominated for this award when the nominations were announced on Twitter. Dream has around 27 million YouTube subscribers as of November 2021. He also has over 5.7 million Twitch followers and is well-known for his multiple “speedruns” of Minecraft, as well as his series “Minecraft Manhunt.”

Fans of Minecraft and members of the community were overjoyed to find that one of the most popular Minecraft streams of all time has been nominated for a prestigious Game Award. Many people believe he will win the honor without a doubt.

Dream followers inspired others to vote for the YouTuber by spreading a link to the Game Awards voting page when the Game Awards website appeared to be down. This year, Dream is among the most well-known names in content creation and gaming. The following are the other nominees:

  • Fuslie
  • Gaules
  • Ibai
  • The Grefg

Dream had an amazing year in 2021, with some of his best work, such as multiple Minecraft Manhunt videos and numerous live broadcasts, being released. To cap it off, he was a member of the 2021 MCC All-Stars championship team. Dream, his buddies and other Minecraft content creators Darryl “BadBoyHalo” Noveschosch, Nick “Sapnap,” and George “GeorgeNotFound” Davidson made up the Red Rabbits.
