Drake’s Card Declined On Stream

Rap icon Drake was rather embarrassed when his credit card was refused while he attempted to distribute a few hundred free subs to other Kick streamers.

Several various streaming services have attempted to compete with Twitch over the past few years and topple the Amazon-owned service. Even if they may have managed to carve away a little portion for themselves, their primary objective has not been achieved. The most recent of these new rivals is Kick, the Stake-backed platform that has served as a home for countless gambling streamers. They have connections to a number of huge personalities and have already been successful in luring a number of streamers away from Twitch, most noticeably BruceDropEmOff and Adin Ross.

Drake is obviously the largest of them all. Due of his connections to Stake, the Canadian rap legend has thus far been seen on a few streams. His previous outing, though, didn’t exactly get off to a great start.

On June 4, the God’s Plan rapper joined the stream, where he played a few casino games and observed a few other streams. He had the idea to donate 100 given subscriptions to each of the channels he had been viewing as he switched between streams. He attempted to distribute them, but his card was instantly refused and the $500 gifts were not accepted. “Bro! Embarrassing,” Drizzy said in a sing-song tone, even after typing in a security code to verify the payment.

The Canadian rap legend did finally got to gift 100 additional subscribers to a few Kick streamers. Hopefully he won’t make the same small but embarrassing mistake in front of thousands of viewers the next time he decides to be kind.
