Dr Disrespect’s Memoir Trolled

Online celebrity Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV commonly known online as Dr Disrespect has been one of the most popular streamers in the world despite being mysteriously banned from twitch. He continued his streaming career on youtube platform and there he managed to regain a majority of his fans on the platform. DrDisrespect has clearly faced several obstacles throughout his career which made him an inspiration to millions of people that follow him. In March 2021, Dr disrespect released his book ‘Violence. Speed. Momentum’ which comprises some of the biggest highlights of his life outside Twitch and YouTube.

The book turns out to be a tremendous hit as many of Dr Disrespect’s fans around the world came on to support their favorite streamer. However, Dr Disrespect’s fellow streamer Jack Dunlop aka CouRage has recently jokingly roasted Doc’s book as it did not become a New York Times bestseller. Dr Disrespect was highly ambitious about his book. He wanted it to become a top seller, but was disappointed when the New York Times did not include it in the latest top 15 new bestseller books list. One of the books listed on the list had sold 5,000 copies since its release. Dr Disrespect’s ‘Violence. Speed. Momentum’ sold more copies on its first day which led to Doc calling the New York Times a “scam”.

CouRage recently posted a video on his twitter. At first, he was thanking Doc for sending him his book and went on to say some positive remarks about the book. Then shortly after, he shifted gears and jokingly threw the book in a bin. Considering that CouRage and Dr Disrespect have been good friends for such a long time, it is possible that CouRage might have been trolling the New York Times for its biased list too.
