Dr Disrespect’s Chess Games Analyzed By GM Hikaru

Youtube streamer Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, popularly known as Dr Disrespect have been streaming and trying out some different games lately. Recently, when Dr Disrespect is not streaming Warzone or Valorant he spends his time learning chess. Twitch streamer GM Hikaru who loves analyzing the games of popular celebrities have decided to analyzed Dr Disrespect’s chess games where he calls him ‘Dr NotSoPolite’.

In the video that GM Hikaru uploaded on youtube, he went to Doc’s chess.com profile and looked at his game history. He sees that Dr Disrespect likes to go by on the board game website and had won one and drew another out of a few matches then the rest was a loss for Dr Disrespect which Hikaru claimed that Dr Disrespect still has a lot to learn in chess. Hikaru stated that Dr Disrespect is not the best at openings as he never castled his king and always opened pawns unnecessarily. But then also some of the few of Dr Disrespect’s openings and defenses have surprised Hikaru.

Hikaru stated; “I’m not gonna lie, I’m impressed. Even if there are a lot of things that he’s not seeing, there are certain things that he’s seeing that I would not expect someone who’s completely new to the game to see…I’m under the assumption that he has very limited knowledge in terms of chess, and he didn’t like, you know, he didn’t spend hours like looking at stuff ahead of time.” Also, according to Hikaru, Dr Disrespect has done fairly well compared to many other beginner streamers he coached for the PogChamps 3 event.
