Dr Disrespect Threatened to Quit Halo Infinite

Dr Disrespect has been prepared to give Halo Infinite a chance, but as issues, crashes, and bugs mount, the YouTuber reveals he’s on the edge of uninstalling the “broken” sequel.

The two-time’s opinion of Halo Infinite is unraveling by the day. While he continues to call it a “breath of fresh air” in comparison to gaming behemoths like Apex Legends or Warzone, the cracks are beginning to appear. Dr Disrespect is already picking apart the sequel’s features a fortnight after its shocking multiplayer debut, and even demanding that the developers make major modifications.

Then, last week, the YouTuber’s escalating frustrations with Halo Infinite cost him a controller when he destroyed his sticks in a fit of wrath fueled by aim assist. The problems are piling up to the point that the dreaded word “uninstall” is being thrown around. The Doc hasn’t completely removed Halo Infinite off his PC yet, but he thinks he’s getting closer following a crash-filled stream this week.

While playing ranked with other stars CouRage and TimTheTatman, Dr Disrespect’s newest run-in with Halo Infinite difficulties loomed. The Doc was sent back to the menu in the middle of the game, when he was greeted with repeated “connection issues” warnings that prevented him from rejoining the lobby. The two-time winner was taken aback for a second. He sat staring at his screen for a few moments before going to Halo’s settings menu and considering “uninstalling” the game and leaving it alone.

He exclaimed; “This is such a broken game! I’m sick of it. You expect a game that’s developed for this long will actually let you play some games, right?”

The biggest disappointment from Halo Infinite’s release thus far, according to the two-timer, has been its quality after seven years in development. With so much time to work on the game, the YouTuber expressed optimism. He said; “I don’t like complaining, but it’s like, they had seven years on this, and we’re still getting [issues]? I like the game, I love it. When it’s clicking, it feels so good, but all the disconnects, aim to assist problems. Ah! Anyway, I’ve been thinking that maybe my expectations were too high. I have to tone them f**king down. My expectations were sky-high, but I’ve not really seen that polished game. We just didn’t get that, did we?”

For the time being, Halo is safe on the Doc’s PC; he recently revealed that there isn’t anything else he wants to play, and it’s “all he thinks about” before he broadcasts.
