Dizzy Explains Why He Quit The Battle Royale

Coby Meadows aka Dizzy is well known for his stellar Apex Legends play with thousands of viewers heading to his stream or whatever pro event he is playing in to watch him put on a show. Back in July 2020, he disappeared from the internet entirely and he stepped back from Apex Legends.

On January 18th, he announced via a twitlonger post that he was ready to get back to streaming however, he will be mostly streaming and playing the game Valorant instead of Apex. During one of his recent streams, when he was asked as to why he stepped away from Apex Legends, he answered it simply by saying that he just stopped enjoying it. He stated; “Sitting in a queue, landing, looting, you get sh*t loot, bad RNG, you die, you’re back in the queue waiting again. It’s very repetitive. I feel like it’s easy to burnout on, Especially if you’re streaming 8+ hours a day.”

Dizzy also made it clear that apex legends is not bad as it is actually a good game and definitely one of the best battle royale games to play however, he said that it is just exhausting. Now, Dizzy has primarily been playing Valorant since his return, though fans were overjoyed to see him make the jump back over to the BR, even if it was brief.
