Disguised Toast Fakes His Twitch Ban

In the midst of the heated debates around DMCA strikes involving reaction content on Twitch, strange yet intriguing news emerged. The reality behind Twitch’s most talked-about ban, Disguised Toast, has finally been revealed.

The suspension imposed on the streamer on January 10th for watching the anime “Death Note” was, as the streamer later claimed, a staged drama intended to warn the community about the risks of the DMCA policy. Toast planned everything and Lilypichu helped him carry it out.

The streamer first decided to react to a large amount of anime on his channel, directing Lilypichu to submit a DMCA claim against his broadcast. Then he saw Death Note, and the rest of the series followed suit, surprising him. Here’s what Toast had to say: “When I started this whole thing, I didn’t expect it to go that long. Maybe like two days. Then it actually went on for two weeks! It got out of hand. People really just believe everything they see and hear, don’t they? I said I was going to see everyone in a month (after the ban)and everyone just believed it. I didn’t say what reason, or what I got DMCA strike for, and people just made-up reasons. The ban’s a month? Or he must have got multiple strikes”.

Toast went on to explain how the DMCA policy was broken and how it needed to be fixed. He continued; “Something is broken about the DMCA system. I don’t think I should have gotten away with a whole series. And, I don’t think Hasan should have been taken away with a false DMCA claim. I didn’t enjoy the risk. I didn’t enjoy breaking the rules. And I don’t know if I helped by pointing all this out. But something isn’t right, and we need to look at it”.

Toast must have had a lot of fun putting this drama together, but the Internet is very great, and it’s eager to know whether there’s any more truth to this story.
