Disabling Copyrighted Music

Just as live streaming stages like Twitch mass erase video content because of the inundation of DMCA takedown demands, Cyberpunk 2077 engineer CD Project Red is giving its players an answer for managing the issue of real time copyrighted music in computer games. The engineer will give players the alternative of crippling certain melodies in Cyberpunk 2077, evading copyright strikes while livestreaming or making recordings that highlight sound from the game.

Bennett said Cyberpunk 2077 will naturally cripple those music tracks when players stream from the comfort adaptation. PC players will have the option to turn it on and off in the game choices, Bennett clarified.

Cyberpunk 2077 will highlight around “150 sort twisting tracks,” as per CD Project Red’s video, including tunes from craftsmen Run the Jewels, Nina Kraviz, Grimes, Gazelle Twin, and Rat Boy.

Cd Project Red intends to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 4, Stadia, Windows PC, and Xbox One on December 10th. The adaptations will be supported on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X through in reverse similarity, with upgraded renditions for PS5 and Xbox Series X due in 2021.
