Destiny is Criticized for Promoting NFTs

Twitch streamer Destiny has been in hot water for promoting NFTs on his channel just days after calling the digital art craze a “pyramid scheme and scam.”

Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a cryptocurrency that has been getting a lot of traction in recent months. Are they, however, as valuable as they appear to be? Recently, social media personalities have been active in the blockchain area, which is attracting an increasing number of people to join the movement. Destiny, a twitch streamer, has a different opinion.

NFTs, according to Destiny, one of the top gaming and current affairs streamers, are “fuck**g worthless” and “sh*t.” He referred to the sellers as scammers and compared the NFT craze to a “pyramid scheme.”

While he recently stated that NFTs are a “scam,” the streamer has been seen pushing NFTs on his channel. Destiny read out a sponsored ad for Eternal in his November 4 stream. If you’re unfamiliar with Eternal, it’s a service that sells Twitch video on the blockchain called NFTs.

According to the company’s website; “Eternal Moments are non-fungible tokens (NFTs), whose uniqueness and rarity are guaranteed by the blockchain.”

In the advertisement, the streamer said “the idea behind this is you can basically buy and sell Twitch clips, and you can get an NFT that you get autographed by the streamer who the clip is of.

Because of this, some of Destiny’s fans and followers started mocking him when he did an ad for Eternal, accusing him of not being a man of his words.
