Day6 Jae’s 2022 Plans

Jae Park of South Korean band Day6, recently spoke out about his future plans once he’s “more out of the K-pop realm.”

The Day6 singer, who also goes by the moniker eaJ, recently held a Twitter Spaces session last August 31st which fans have archived here. During the session, he discussed his plans for more solo releases in the coming year, as well as being able to interact with fans more.

During what was also his first-ever session on Twitter Spaces, Jae said that it will be a super cool platform when he’s no longer in the K-pop world and there aren’t as many people getting [upset] over insignificant things, he’ll be able to have more personal conversations.

He could be referring to a “sugar daddy” remark he made during a Twitch livestream in March, which sparked controversy in South Korea. Following that, the singer took down his Twitch channel and issued an apology via Twitter and added that 2022 is definitely going to be his year and that a lot more interaction is required.

During the Twitter Spaces session, he added that he is definitely going to be able to do a lot more things and hoping that he’ll be able to do a lot of things with his fans and followers because, at the end of the day, they are his family.

He also mentioned his upcoming appearance at Head In The Clouds 2021, a music and arts festival that will take place at the Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on November 6 and 7 and said that it will undoubtedly be a watershed moment in my career as a musician and predicted, that’s the first time he get to be Jae instead of some phony version of a perfect human being. Finally, he can be who he is as a unique human being.

Meanwhile, Jae recently collaborated on the song “Dive With You” with South Korean singer Seori. It’s their second collaboration; they previously collaborated on the single “It Just Is” with singer-songwriter Keshi in September.

Seori will also be performing at the Head In The Clouds festival this year, alongside headliners Joji, Rich Brian, and Saweetie.
