xQc Likes Cyberpunk 2077 Streaming Rules

The game Cyberpunk2077 is without a doubt one of the most anticipated games in quite some time. Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. It has been seven years since the first release of the trailer of this game and the gaming industry has been wanting every little detail of this since.

However, there are only a few days left before it’s release. December 10th is the official release date of the said game but there are some who were lucky enough to have already secured some early copies. Regardless of whether they have the early copies or not, they have to follow strict rules. CD Project warns the streamers and content creators to not stream or upload the game before midnight on December 9th until it releases. Various streamers were initially against this kind of approach but one of the most popular Twitch streamers Felix Lengyel aka xQc agreed and is in favor of CD Project’s rule.

xQc explained why this approach is far better from a streamer’s perspective. In order to stream various other titles as soon as possible, xQc had to jump through some hurdles. Some streamers are given early access codes which is unfair to the other streamers. xQc stated during his stream; “The only games I got to stream early… I literally had to get someone’s account from New Zealand, pay them so they would buy the game on my account, get the account back, change password, log in, and play early.”
