Cyberpunk 2077 Has Glitch

The newly popular game Cyberpunk2077 has been officially released after many delays. Some streamers have started to play and stream the game. Some music in the game is leading to DMCA strikes against streamers. DMCA takedown strikes had given some twitch streamers a rough time over the past few months.

Many streamers, even some of the notable streamers, received a ban notice from DMCA mainly because of the copyrighted music on their live stream. Recently, some streamers have gotten DMCA strikes just for game sound effects, preposterous flags and muted content for things as harmless as the noise of an insect or the wind blowing. It seems like the developers of Cyberpunk2077 CD Projekt Red saw that some issues might arise in streams of its game as they added an option to turn off copyrighted music tracks that play, which was supposed to protect streamers from getting DMCA strikes for content related to Cyberpunk 2077.

The official twitter of Cyberpunk 2077 posted on Twitter warning streamers of a song that might get streamers smacked with a DMCA strike, even with the “Disable Copyrighted Music” option on. They clarified that they are still working to fix it but for the meantime, they recommended that streamers turn off their sound during the first two Braindance sequences in the game.
