CouRage Does Pon Pon Dance

On September 20th, co-owner of 100 Thieves and a popular streamer Jack Dunlop aka CouRage was invited to see the New York Yankees take on the Texas Rangers and chose to use his time in front of national television cameras to shout out his good friend and fellow streamer Tyler Blevins aka Ninja.

During Ninja’s meteoric rise through the Twitch ranks, he routinely played Fortnite on broadcast with CouRage, and the two became great friends, along with new Complexity streamer TimTheTatman and DrLupo. CouRage enjoys making fun of Ninja’s comical New Year’s fiasco, in which he attempted to convince the people of Times Square to do the floss dance with him.

CouRage, who never misses an opportunity, found himself seated behind home plate at Yankee Stadium with cameras trained on him, and he knew precisely what to do.

CouRage realized he was on national television as the pitcher lined up his throw and couldn’t help himself. He reproduced Ninja’s famed Pon Pon dance in true gamer fashion, arms outstretched from side to side, despite his inability to stand and properly pull the dances off.

Ninja has yet to comment on CouRage’s dance or provide feedback, possibly because he was too preoccupied with watching his Detroit Lions lose to the Green Bay Packers.

Ninja is perhaps one of the most well-known streamers in the world, and while he may no longer appear on national talk shows or draw hundreds of thousands of people to each stream, his legacy — particularly the Pon Pon — continues to make news.
