Colourblind Accessibility

Colourblind accessibility mode for the game will be used soon after the developers of Dead by Daylight announced it. This is news from the team since the controversial comments were made last week.

There is a necessity for a colorblindedness mode. Ethan Larson responded after recurring controversy of color usage. He is the Behaviour Interactive’s lead programmer in charge of Dead by Daylight. He reassured that it was in development now. They are working on it and they are doing it because players want it. There is a greater population who will benefit from this.

They will be addressing colorblindedness concerns with the new HUD by the Mid-Chapter release. They are also now aiming for the next chapter release. They are asking for further colourblind support. He reiterated that they are doing this for more accessibility to the gamers.
