Twitch streamer Codemiko is a Vtuber who is also a rapidly growing creator on twitch. She was using an expensive movement-tracking suit to bring a colorful avatar to life in real-time. However, she recently got banned in January as she accidentally showed someone’s personal details on stream. She made her return at the start of February following a few weeks off.

During her return stream, she addressed all three of her bans and revealed that she had been barred from participating in Hivemind. In response to questions about her bans, she stated; “I don’t really see myself as a very toxic creator, I don’t ever try to cause any drama or anything like that. But I have been banned three times.” While crying she added; “It hurts because I feel like they see me as a toxic person or something, I get it though. I do get it.” She went on about the details of her three bans from the platform.

She claimed that her first ban was because an outfit her 3D model appeared in on stream was deemed too revealing by Twitch. Her second ban was because of the joke from her chat and her third and most recent ban was because of displaying an email in an interview with a friend and fellow streamer when the two were discussing female harassment online. Codemiko also revealed in another stream the financial impact that her twitch ban caused her. She stated; “I think I was only like some hundreds away from reaching 10,000 subs… now I need around …, I lost about 4,000 subs.”
