Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, a 29-year-old French Dota 2 player, is widely regarded as one of the best in the game. He has been a member of OG Esports since 2018. He had previously worked for the organization as a coach.

The biggest tournament of the year in the Dota 2 scene, ‘The International,’ will be held in Romania from October 7 to 17. The prize pool for the tournament is $40.000.000, which means the winner will take home $18.000.000.

Ceb revealed three days ago that doctors discovered a critical problem with his left eye during a routine medical check-up, and that he only had a few hours before losing his eye. As a result, the veteran player had to undergo emergency surgery.

Even though the surgery went well and there were no complications, Ceb’s participation in ‘The International’ was uncertain, as the player announced on Twitter. However, it appears that his recovery went more quickly than he anticipated.

OG Esports announced on their official YouTube account yesterday that Ceb will be attending ‘The International’ with his team and competing in the tournament, despite his medical condition.
