Rare Box Of Pokemon Vintage Cards Destroyed

There’s a new trend right now on the Twitch platform where you can purchase a box of Pokémon cards and reveal them one by one with your viewers hoping that some of them are rare cards. If you are lucky, you may find some of the rarest cards worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. That wasn’t the idea of one of the famous streamers on Twitch. He decided to purchase one of the vintage boxes of Pokémon and instead of revealing it in a normal way, he and his friends destroyed it in different ways.

Chance Morris also known as Sodapoppin is the one who destroyed rare Pokémon cards. One of the cards he destroyed was worth more than $5k. During one of his livestreams, he decided to destroy a box of vintage cards worth roughly around $20k. Rather than just reveal the box of cards, he destroyed it and decided to burn it in front of his thousands of viewers.

Sodapoppin and his friends found the holographic Dark Raichu card and a holographic Dark Slowbro card. He and his friends did a horrible thing to the cards. They were laughing and having fun while they destroyed it. He put one of the rare cards in a glass of lubricant and he also used The Boring’s Company’s flamethrower to light up the holographic Dark Slowbro card. He also did horrible things to other cards like shuffling one of the cards to the ordinary deck cards, shuffling them which will result in damaging the edges and the card itself.

Their videos received lots of hate comments but others are having fun. Still, doing such horrible things to others’ interest might be painful and disrespectful. He did it to make his point that this is like gambling for children and mocked the trend.

The new expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game will be coming next year in the month of February. The popularity of the Pokemon Cards again can be expected.
