The Botez Sisters Signs With Envy Gaming

Envy Gaming announced a new partnership with Twitch Streamers and chess players Alexandra Botex and Andrea Botez. The Botez sisters are popular in the chess industry. Both of them appeared in many chess events becoming commentators for the popular influencer chess competition Pogchamps.

The partnership with the Botez sisters was made in consultation with Evolved Talent Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Alexandra Botez also made a name in the chess world and Twitch, earning the title of Woman FIDE Master.

Netflix’s released series of The Queen’s Gambit is part of the reason for their popularity. Chess has become a topic recently, and has risen in popularity this past year.

They aren’t the only chess players who signed with an eSports organization. Grandmaster Hhikamaru Nakamura also signed with TeamSoloMid. Brazillian Grandmaster Krikor Mekhitarian signed with FURIA and Grandmaster Andrew “penguinm1” Tang also signed with Cloud9.

Both of the Botez sisters will be seen streaming on the Envy Gaming official channel.
