Bird Girl Raises $500,000

The Philanthropic Industry became life-changing again and again. Twitch is one of the most popular websites in the country. There are approximately 15 million users per day. These viewers are a good vehicle of fundraising. The influence of every streamer is loved by the audiences especially with their dedication to work and passion for the receiver of their efforts. One of the efforts that made it possible was Charity Streams.

Charity Streams on the platform like DrLupo’s 2.3 million fundraisings to St.Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Hbomberguy’s $340,000 fundraising for Transgender Advocacy Group Mermaids, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s $200,000 fundraising for Mutual Aid Groups, and Pestily’s million dollars fundraising for Starlight Children’s Foundation. In 2020, $83 million was raised by the Twitch Community for Charities.

Recently, another philanthropic advocacy was made possible. Maya Higa is also known as Twitch’s “Bird Girl” and raised $500,000 for Animal Sanctuary. This is considered as one of the highlights of 2021 for the Twitch Community. Higa was a Professional Conservationist, Falconer, and Twitch streamer. She was known for her passion for conservation and animals. She explained in an interview that all the proceeds of this cause will be solely for the very own physical shelter of the animals. She encouraged that whoever donates for this cause will receive their very own metal leaves to be placed on a tree at the eventual sanctuary, a golden shovel signed by Sodapoppin, Gucci Loafers of Musician T-Pain, and even an hour of time with Shroud. She also added that once the desired amount was achieved, she will shave her head on camera.
