Asmongold’s WoW Community Council Application Shut Down

Popular twitch streamer Asmongold has made waves on the internet by sending a particularly scathing application to Blizzard’s WoW Community Council — and they’ve answered.

Twitch star Asmongold has been relatively quiet since the devastating death of his mother. He briefly returned to the internet to publish a YouTube video on his mother’s illness, claiming that the experience has made him “less of an a**hole” on Twitch. Despite stating that he will not be returning to full-time broadcasting on his primary channel any time soon, the self-proclaimed professional neckbeard has honored his pledge to create YouTube videos.

Asmon chose to apply for World of Warcraft’s new WoW Community Council in a November 8 video, but it appears that his particularly scathing application hasn’t won over the staff at Blizzard HQ.

“Submissions are open to any player interested in taking part in the program,” Blizzard writes in its November 1 blog, describing the Council as “another venue for communication between players and WoW developers,” However, it looks that Azeroth’s new diplomacy chair is uninterested in welcoming the streamer into its ranks.

Asmongold stated; “Do you want to hear my application to the WoW community? Because I did apply. Honestly, I wasn’t sure I was going to apply for this until I just Torghast Adamant Vaults and, out of the three pairs of golden shoulder transmogs that are supposed to drop, I got a duplicate.”

He concludes; “What kind of dogsh**t a** garbage is that. I’m not having fun.”
