Asmongold Stunned On Diablo 4 Bug

Asmongold, a well-known Twitch streamer, was momentarily rendered speechless and enraged when a random glitch during the Diablo 4 Early Access period deleted his character.

The Early Access beta for Diablo 4 is still active, giving fans their first opportunity to peek inside the universe of the upcoming installment in the franchise. Unfortunately, not every fan has had a smooth experience during the beta phase, and some content producers and broadcasters have unavoidably been impacted by the various flaws and malfunctions. Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold experienced an especially nasty problem during the test that caused him to lose his character and be kicked out of the game, leaving him noticeably upset.

During the early hours of Asmongold’s broadcast, not long after he had eventually started playing, the glitch happened. Asmon explored the tutorial area, engaged in battle, and interacted with a few NPCs after spending approximately ten minutes customizing his Barbarian to his preferences. Funny enough, the streamer had just momentarily read out loud from conversation, “DC incoming,” to which he jokingly replied, “No, it’s not going to DC me. I’m a streamer, I’m special.”

The game abruptly ended as he was speaking to a different NPC, and a notification stating “Network Disconnect” appeared. Asmongold placed his face in his palms in shock after a brief period of stunned silence. The WoW streamer was then made to endure a protracted loading screen as his irritation increased. Sadly, when he was returned to the main interface, he discovered that the figure he had just spent ten minutes creating had vanished entirely.

To make things worse, Asmongold attempted to re-enter the beta after making a new version of his Barbarian but was greeted with an error notice that stated, “Your account is currently locked. Please wait a few minutes and try again,” to which he incredulously said, “What? Was I cheating? What the f*ck is this?”

Fortunately, Asmongold’s second try went better because, following yet another drawn-out loading period, he was able to restart with his freshly created character. He began his broadcast obviously irritated by his early experience, but he concluded it with a generally favorable assessment of the Diablo 4 beta.
