AOC Encourages Voting

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known for her initials AOC will be playing the game Among Us with a collaboration of some of the biggest Twitch streamers on Twitch platform to encourage voting. The stream will begin on October 20th.

AOC is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district. The district includes the eastern part of the Bronx, portions of north-central Queens, and Rikers Island in New York City. The stream was not only playing the game Among Us. It was also there to help others to craft a voting plan at the website iwillvote.com. It is only 2 weeks before the US presidential election.

Due to the pandemic, voting might be confusing to many. This is not the first time that a politician has used video games to help spread information as to how to vote. It is good that someone like AOC is helping those with problems and questions about voting.
