Another Ban For Projekt Melody

Twitch streamer Projekt Melody is a 3D anime-styled live streamer, or VTuber, designed by American animator DigitrevX. She first appeared when her Twitter account opened in July 2019, and she has live streamed on Chaturbate and Twitch since early 2020. She has gained over 300,000 followers on the Twitch platform and has been ranked in the top most watched english speaking Just Chatting on the platform.

During her debut stream earlier in March this year, just one day after she partnered with Twitch, she was banned from the platform. The reason for her first ban was when she stated; “I want to be respectful of the platform, while also feeling sexy”. The ban lasted for three days. Then she kept to SFW content on her Twitch, having streamed regularly on the platform over the past months. Her overt and open NSFW nature likely meant that she was under more scrutiny than most. However, now that she was banned for the second time the company Twitch removed their partnership with her.

Her Twitch account channel has been banned since November 4th until now. Twitch’s ban guidelines and durations vary greatly but unpartnering a streamer indicates a more severe sentence. It’s possible that the virtual streamer will be permanently banned from the platform but the length and the reason for her second ban is still currently unknown.
