Disguised Toast Explained How Among Us Boosted His Streaming Stats

Facebook gaming streamer Jeremy Wang aka Disguised toast revealed how Among Us helped him to reach the meteoric rise into popularity. Among Us was originally released in June 2018. It rose in popularity in 2020 with many big streamers including Valkyrae, Pokimane, Corpse husband and more having joined in the Mafia inspired party game. And one of the streamers or content creators who benefited from the game’s rise was the facebook gaming and twitch streamer Disguised toast.

In May 2021, he revealed that he was ending the Among Us era on his content, leaving his fans an emotional message about it. However, it seems like now, he has been expressing his interest of jumping back as he was caught playing Among Us with his usual circle of streamers friends lobby sometimes. During one of his recent youtube video upload in his ‘20,000 IQ’ series, it turns out that despite all of the other games he’s played during his time on the internet, Among Us is the one that has had the most impact on his streaming career.

In the video, he was asked how the title changed his life. He responded stating; “So August 1, 2020, that’s when we first played, I had 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube. I now have 3.5 million, so more than doubled. On Twitter, I had about 600,000 followers, I now have 1.3 million. More than doubled. On Twitch, the platform I don’t stream on besides like, three times in the last months, I had 1.3 million followers on Twitch, and now I’m at 2 million.” His social media also shows a massive growth as he reveals that his Instagram account went from 300k to 800k and his Facebook went from 600k to 1.5 million.
