24/7 Show Takes Over Twitch

Twitch has seen a rise in channels that are streaming TV series like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and others 24/7 as the react meta starts to spread.

At the start of 2022, Twitch streamers looking for content to react to were particularly fond of TV shows like Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and Masterchef. Even though Ramsay has hinted at joining Twitch, the buck doesn’t stop with him when it comes to reacting to content. DisguisedToast was banned for watching episodes of the anime show Death Note, but he later claimed it was staged, while Pokimane was banned for watching Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Some people are now attempting to take advantage of this meta by streaming some shows 24/7.

Channels like these could be set to make streamers’ lives easier — as well as providing easy access for fans of the series — in the react meta, which has been particularly polarizing among streamers and viewers alike. If you search 24/7 on Twitch, you’ll find a number of channels broadcasting reruns of classic fan-favorite shows, and in various languages too. These stations offer a wide range of programming, including anime, Family Guy, and The Simpsons, among others.

This is unquestionably exciting for fans of the series on offer, and streamers will very likely try their luck by reacting to these channels, but it’s worth emphasizing that they don’t make it any more legal by allowing them to do so.

As a result of the DMCA, don’t be shocked if streamers who watch these channels are fined, and the channels themselves are shut down as quickly as possible.
