100 Thieves Enters Keyboard Equipment Space

100 Thieves enters the keyboard equipment space, acquiring the manufacturer known as Higround.

100 Thieves, a lifestyle brand and esports organization, has acquired Higround, a company known for its “graphic gaming keyboards.” It’s 100 Thieves’ first acquisition as the company expands into the PC equipment market.

Keyboards, in particular, have recently become somewhat of a fashion statement in the gaming world. It was only natural that 100T would be the gold standard in esports apparel.

The 100T goal emphasizes high-quality designs and a streamlined aesthetic, and the Los Angeles-based keyboard manufacturer falls into that ideal. 100 Thieves and Higround have already announced an exclusive drop, which is expected to sell out soon.

Higround made the announcement on Twitter, expressing its delight at the prospect of working with an esports behemoth as they wrote; “We’re excited to announce that we’ve joined the @100Thieves family! Grateful to be able to continue to build Highground with the support of a brand that shares our vision.”

The 100T organization also welcomed Highground to the family with a tweet of its own stating; “Highground is a lifestyle brand whose unique keyboards sit at the intersection of peripherals, collectibles, and gaming culture. Higround is our first-ever acquisition & we’re excited to help them build for years to come.”

The capsule launch was Higround’s first cooperation with 100 Thieves. The drop will feature a geographic-style 100T keyboard, a jelly bag, and a hoodie, and will be available on October 15. It’s unknown how much stock will be available, but 100T-branded things are notorious for selling out quickly.
