xQc Talks About Texas Streaming House

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, a well-known streamer and gamer, is notorious for speaking up when he doesn’t agree with something. He recently revealed a viewpoint in one of his streams that may have shocked many of his viewers as well as other streamers.

On June 28th, xQc discussed the Austin, Texas broadcasting house on a Twitch stream. He commented about how he felt bad about the community there, therefore it was obvious that his opinions weren’t held for legitimate reasons. Lengyel has moved around a lot in the past due to events like home invasions, swatting incidents, and unfavorable attitudes toward city living. He recently talked to his supporters during a Twitch stream about his feelings toward the Texas streaming home where he had previously resided. Other well-known streamers including Sodapoppin, nmplol, and Malena are in the house.

In the beginning of his career, xQc resided in Texas with his companion Adept, who is currently his ex-girlfriend. Felix eventually left with bad feelings, therefore he didn’t stay there for very long. In his stream from June 28, xQc made an attempt to elucidate how Texas culture is essentially toxic, “over-competitive for no reason,” and “full of big drama.”

He said; “It is extremely hostile, it’s overly competitive for no reason, it’s mega ego, and it’s mega drama. The amount of behind-the-scenes s**t is so stacked […] it’s f*****g insane the amount of drama behind the scenes,”

He would not reveal anyone’s name, but he was very adamant about his opinion of the Texas streaming scene. It was pretty clear that xQc wouldn’t take the names because he acknowledged that not everyone would share his ideas. Perhaps he didn’t want to offend anyone, especially those from the mentioned area. The next several days will be intriguing to watch to see how this situation plays out. Because other well-known streamers will undoubtedly be interested in his opinions on Texas and might shortly respond.
