xQc saves Kai Cenat From Getting Banned

Fans are thrilled that xQc recently saved Kai Cenat from a harsh instaban on Twitch. It is no secret that one of the largest streaming services in the globe is Twitch. Several streamers and content creators find refuge in the Amazon-owned brand, which provides them with a stage on which to display their talents.

At the end of December 2022, Twitch had 7.03 million streamers, a figure that will be difficult to surpass, according to Statista. Kick, a new platform, was recently introduced to the market, but it would take years for that to get to the same place.

Despite this, one issue has consistently been brought up by Twitch streamers: the strict terms and conditions. For its content providers, the site has tight guidelines that only allow them to feature anything that complies with its criteria. So, before showing off any move that could lead to an instaban, developers should think twice. And although there are other cases that support this, we immediately think of the Dr. Disrespect case.

There have been rumors that Doc was banned for breaking the rules by live-streaming from the restroom. The second well-known figure to almost get into trouble was Kai Cenat, but xQc intervened just in time. DrDisrespect encountered difficulties during E3 2020 after he was discovered broadcasting from a restroom. He was immediately removed from Twitch since it appears that “streaming from a toilet” was prohibited on the website. The cause, however, was always conjecture because there was never any news to back it up. That is, however, too good to be true.

Three years later, Kai Cenat was about to find himself in a same predicament if xQc hadn’t intervened. The 21-year-old apparently told his cameraman to follow him as he walked up to the restroom. But then Felix came along to stop the camera as soon as he entered the bathroom. He even brought up the Dr. Disrespect episode to explain to Kai what had occurred in the past.

Felix rescued Cenat from serious jeopardy in one of the game industry’s most honorable acts. The latter, after all, just achieved renown by becoming the Twitch streamer with the fastest 100,000 subscriber milestone.
