xQc is Confused by Overwatch 2

The anticipation for Overwatch 2 continues to build, with fans of the game eagerly waiting for a sequel for the past few years. However, former pro and current Twitch star Felix Lengyel famously known online as xQc watched a match between pros and wasn’t impressed by the new game.

On September 25, the first Overwatch 2 preview was shown at the Overwatch League 2021 grand finals, offering fans their first taste of what to expect. Then, a few days later, a limited number of professional players were invited to participate in a playtest to demonstrate how the game works among the finest.

While there were many differing viewpoints, many xQc fans — particularly those who had followed him since his OWL days with the Dallas Fuel — were eager to hear his perspective on the professional game.

While watching the contest unfold, Twitch streamer xQc appeared to be perplexed by what he was seeing, not quite the excitable character you might imagine when a new game is coming out.

xQc was only gazing at the screen, looking both confused and unimpressed after watching some of the skills in action, with both players and commentators trying to present the greatest version of the new game. When he turned to his stream, he stated; “it’s the same game.” After saying that he “doesn’t know how he feels about this,” xQc minimized the video and was taken aback when he saw how many dislikes it had, before rapidly scrolling through the comments to see what people were saying.

It turns out xQc wasn’t the only one who wasn’t impressed by the video, with one commenter suggesting that it may have just been an update to Overwatch rather than a completely new game.
