xQc Accidentally Banned On DayZ

On DayZ, xQc accidentally received a permanent ban for stream sniping after killing the real stream sniper.

On Twitch, the zombie survival game DayZ has experienced a small comeback. Massive variety streamers are venturing into the post-apocalyptic wasteland to find companionship with strangers, including Summit1g, Lirik, and xQc. This results in some entertaining and occasionally challenging gaming. DayZ has been a popular with viewers, whether it be Summit’s unintentional encounter with Poke or Lirik persuading gamers his parents named him “Kebob.”

Being the unpredictable broadcaster that he is, xQc frequently creates clippable footage while playing DayZ. However, his brief permaban was a comical incident that was beyond of his hands.

xQc logged onto the DayZ servers on June 20th in search of the thrill of survival. But after three hours of collecting trash and fighting zombies, xQc would kill his first player before being kicked from the servers instantly.

An “unstable connection” that xQc hadn’t before encountered was the cause of the boot. When an admin teleported to him, he logged back into the server right away. The admin was interrupted when xQc was once more taken to the title screen. This time, though, the chat window claimed that an admin had permanently banned him.

He was able to sign in again and speak with the admin. “X, give it a second. We had to ban a stream sniper. Something went wrong. We’re fixing it,” the admin said before X was booted from the server a final time. The administrator detailed what had transpired after he was finally able to connect to the server. A stream sniper who had traveled 1,000 meters directly to X’s location was the player whom xQc killed.

Given that they possessed an abundance of resources and weapons, xQc decided not to loot the body and even requested that the admin destroy the player’s loot. Not shortly after, xQc finished his 16 1/2-hour stream by logging out.
