Pokimane Explains Reasons Behind Why Viewers Donate Massive Amount

Popular Twitch Streamer Imane Anys AKA Pokimane recently explained why viewers donate so generously to streamers who are already rich and making lots of money.

There are lots of ways to show viewer’s support to their favorite streamer like subscribing to the streamer’s channel for them to access chat privileges. Also, donation whether in real money or Twitch bits, it is also one of the simplest ways to support content creators.

However, some are wondering why some viewers are eager to donate money to big and wealthy streamers who are already earning thousands of dollars through subscription alone, plus sponsorship, partnership, and more.

According to Pokimane, she shared and explained during her August 12th stream the reason behind why some viewers donate lots of money to the streamer saying that they do that so that they will get notice by the streamer and calling their name out and thanking them.

Pokimane said that people donate because they want to get attention from the streamer and thanked by the streamer and added that a richer someone becomes, their attention are also become more valuable and finished her thought by saying that people are not spending money logically twenty-four-seven and that people do things for other reasons. Many are shocked with Pokimane’s comment and some commented agreeing with her.

Twitch streamers who are rich enough may not need financial support from their viewers, it is still used and done so that viewers are able to support and get attention from the streamer.
