While Streaming Live Tfue Is Swatted

One of the most popular twitch streamers on the Twitch gaming platform, Turner Tenny aka Tfue was recently ‘swatted’ during one of his live broadcasts. During his December 23rd live broadcast while he was playing the game Minecraft, his viewers heard shouting and orders in the background of his stream.

The voices were demanding and commanding Tfue to come out with his hands up. Tfue then disappeared from his stream and his viewers heard him say “I have my hands up officer” multiple times in a row as he moved into the next room. It appeared that Tfue was swatted by one of his viewers. After a few moments, Tfue came back on his stream, remaining silent while staring at his camera for a while.

He received a donation from someone claiming to be the ‘swatter’ as it reads “get swatted”. Tfue responded by saying; “Nice man, you got me… got me real good.” Then he returned to playing Minecraft again with his computer. Being ‘swatted’ means the act of making a hoax emergency call to authorities, in the hope that an armed dispatch will be sent to the home of the unsuspecting target. Streamers are often the main targets of these pranks so that the ‘swatters’ can watch the event unfold in real-time. This is not the first time that a twitch streamer has been swatted live. Fortnite pro clix and bugha have also experienced this kind of situation during their live streams in the past.
