Valkyrae Says She’s Not Having Fun Streaming

Recently, some of the worlds biggest content creators across platforms have hopped into one single Rust server. Rust is a multiplayer-only survival video game developed by Facepunch Studios. The objective of Rust is to survive in the wilderness using gathered or stolen materials.

Players must successfully manage their hunger, thirst, and health, or risk dying. YouTube streamer Rachel Hofstetter aka Valkyrae was part of the huge Rust stream. But then, fans were shocked as Valkyrae ended her stream while still playing Rust. At first, her stream seemed to be moving along great as she was interacting with her chat appearing to be enjoying herself playing in the open-world sandbox. However, as the stream progressed, her viewers could tell that she was having less and less fun. Her chat allowed thousands of casual viewers to talk freely. Some of those comments were negative and some were hurtful comments regarding Valkyrae’s gameplay.

Moments later, she suddenly says during her stream; “I’m gonna end the stream. I’m not having fun streaming.” Then she turned off the broadcast. Because of this, the hashtag #ValkyraeSupport started to trend on Twitter. Her fans started to flood her mentions with loving comments and overall support.
