Twitch Shuts Down Ludwig Guest Appearance

TheStockGuy had planned to have internet superstar Ludwig as his guest for the final edition of his interview show. Twitch, on the other hand, turned down TheStockGuy’s request to have Ludwig on.

TheStockGuy is a Twitch content creator who, unlike a lot of other broadcasters, does not play games live. Instead, he trades stocks in real time every weekday. TSG is a self-described trend trader who has created his own trading strategy. The first season of TheStockGuy’s Twitch-run interview show aired in 2021. Twitch had the last word on who made the cut, even though he may suggest guests for the show.

TheStockGuy proposed veteran Twitch streamer Ludwig as a wonderful last guest in an attempt to cap the first season on a high note. Twitch, on the other hand, did not appreciate having its once-largest creator on to promote his new site.

Ludwig joined a call on one of TheStockGuy’s recent daily streams to talk about stocks and other topics. TheStockGuy asked Ludwig whether he had ever told him what had transpired with his Twitch broadcast during their talk. TheStockGuy explained; “I was doing that interview episode with Twitch, and we didn’t have anybody for the last episode. So I said, ‘I’m bringing on Ludwig.’ You said yes, they sent you the release, and I’m like we’re going out with a bang.”

He went on to say that Twitch came to him and replied, “That’s a no.” Despite his attempts to argue with Twitch—and the fact that Ludwig and Twitch parted ways amicably—they still declined TSG’s request. TSG ultimately gave in and had a final show without Ludwig. TheStockGuy said; “If there is a Season 2, I need to make friends. But I pulled all the stops for [Ludwig].”

Ludwig was watching the program on stream at the time and was confused as to why he wasn’t permitted to participate. TSG speculated stating, “You embarrassed them. They didn’t say that, for the record.”

This was in reference to Ludwig’s internet-shocking announcement of his move to YouTube.
