Twitch Accused Of Not Helping Lilypichu With Stalker Situation

Twitch streamer and OfflineTv member Lily ki aka Lilypichu has been receiving a lot of bombardment messages from a stalker and harasser and it seems like Twitch is not helping her with the situation. Plenty of female streamers have spoken out about being stalked and harassed. One of them is Lilypichu.

During her March 5th live broadcast, she revealed that she has been harassed for a while now by a male chatter on her stream. The male chatter has been flooding her chat and email inbox with endless messages. But then it seems like Twitch has not done anything about the situation as lilypichu stated during the stream; “I have recorded everything and I tried telling Twitch and I tried saying ‘hey can you do something?’ but they’re not doing anything, nothing really happening, This guy’s just going to make accounts until the end of time and get banned over and over again. That’s just what it is.”

Lilypichu further added that she asked twitch for an IP ban so that the guy is forced to stop making accounts, but Twitch said they can’t do that. She also explained how changing her streams to be sub-only chat would help fix the problem, but she doesn’t want to put her chat behind a paywall for the rest of her viewers. She stated; “The only other solution is sub-only chat but I don’t want to DonoWall people who want to chat and stuff, you know. It’s not a big deal because he’s writing the same s**t every time. At this point it’s boring. But like, if you’re in my position, what do you do? I don’t even check my emails anymore because he spams my inbox.” Some of her fans were left confused as to why Twitch was not taking stronger action, seeing as the harassment is happening on their platform.
