Trainwreck Speaks About Bringing Politics Into The Workplace

Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam is engaged in a full-scale conflict with Twitch and its greatest celebrities.

He has accused them of working together to harm him in order to further their narcissistic goals, and he is about to start his own streaming site to permanently distance himself from them. Before parting ways, he gave some advise to the Amazon platform, telling it to stop treating streamers like employees and stop bringing their politics to work.

He said during an episode of his Scuffed Podcast; “They need to go to these individuals and say, ‘Listen. You need to pack up all the politics you brought from your own home that you brought to work. You need to pack it up, put it in your fucking bag, and take it back home,”

Because your personal politics—the ones you believe in—do not belong here, where we conduct business. He continued, “Right now, I believe too much of the at-home politics are being brought to work. That’s why Twitch is in the red. And everything that’s leading to these policy changes that are totally fucking backwards, for the most part, is coming from that bullshit!”

He was alluding to Twitch’s decision to outlaw the majority of gambling activities, which came about after several celebrities, including Mizkif and Pokimane—the latter of whom he referred to as “one of the most corrupt figures”—campaigned for it. Twitch’s new platform ambitions won’t be at all impacted even if Trainwreck’s advise is rejected.

His new website, created to compete with Twitch, might go live as early as November of this year. It will be consistent with his vision, which favors smaller-scale creators over larger ones because, in his opinion, they form the foundation of the sector.

When Trainwreck eventually reveals the timeline for his separatist website in the upcoming weeks, we’ll learn more about what it will look like and which streamers will be on board.
