The Latest Dr Disrespect Twitch Ban Theory

Jeff Leach, a Call of Duty voice actor, has offered some new insight on the curious case of Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban and it has started to circulate on the internet. In a video on Dan Allen Gaming YouTube channel, Allen and Jeff Leach have been discussing what Dr Disrespect might have done to warrant his ban on Twitch.

Dan Allen began by asking Jeff Leach what he believes caused Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban and Jeff Leach responds stating; “I think no one knows but Dr Disrespect and Twitch. That’s what I think. And that’s what I know to be the truth.” Jeff Leach further noted in the interview with Dan Allen that he had heard rumors of what had happened with Dr Disrespect via people he knew that had worked at Twitch, most notably suggesting it came as a result of Mixer’s closure. Leach admitted that it’s all alleged and he can’t be 100% sure.

He stated; “What I have heard through various people who work at Twitch is that when it came to renegotiation time for his contract and he was using offers from Mixer as leverage to get himself a bit more money out of Twitch”. These talks were going on right before Mixer announced it was shutting down, which Leach believes led Twitch to think Dr Disrespect was lying about an offer. Regardless, the only people who probably definitely know what happened are Dr Disrespect himself and Twitch. For now, Dr Disrespect is on YouTube where he doesn’t seem to have skipped a beat.
