Talon Esports To Sign K-pop Star Min

Talon Esports announced on December 16th that Lee “Min” Min-young, a K-pop star, has signed on as their newest brand ambassador.

Min is a K-pop star best remembered for her time as a member of the K-pop girl group “Miss A.” The group made their debut in 2010 with the song “Bad Girl, Good Girl,” which became an instant hit and topped numerous music charts. Min parted ways with her talent agency, JYP Entertainment, in 2017 after seven years with Miss A.

The CEO/Co-founder of Talon Esports, Sean Zhang, explained their decision process in signing Min as they stated; “The really important factor was that she was naturally a gamer, and used [gaming] as a pastime to relax and destress. We heard that she was playing a ridiculous amount of Overwatch every single day, and when we’re looking for brand ambassadors and projects to work on, having people who are truly passionate about gaming and being able to breach that into the music industry and other entertainment forms was really important.”
