Streamer iiTzTimmy Teams UP With Shroud

iiTzTimmy, a Twitch streamer, announced the hiring process for his Valorant squad on Twitter.

Michael “Shroud,” a veteran esports player and well-known content developer, is also a member of the team. The latter has previously represented Sentinels, an American esports team, in competitive Valorant.

Recently, the esports titan 100 Thieves signed iiTzTimmy. He will collaborate with Higround, the organization’s hardware business. iiTzTimmy announced the Valorant team’s player needs, saying: “Looking for players for Valorant ascension with @shroud! Roles undecided and most likely will need an IGL. If interested, DM me!”

After posting job openings on their Valorant rosters, the streamer assumed a recruitment role for his squad. Many creators have volunteered for the position even though the in-game roles have not yet been chosen. The creators of Valorant, Riot Games, revealed in October 2022 that they will be launching three brand-new Ascension competitions in the following year, namely the EMEA, Americas, and Pacific Ascensions.

Their official website states: “In 2023 three brand new Ascension tournaments will debut in each international territory! These tournaments will feature the best teams from more than twenty different Challenger leagues. You’ll see dozens of squads compete on LAN for regional pride and promotion into the international leagues. Next year, Challenger leagues within each of the three territories will culminate in a new event series that will crown the best team in their territory. Teams who secure victory at the three Challengers Ascension tournaments will earn a spot in the following year’s international league.”

Riot Games’ VCT expansion includes this. According to the website, the main goal was to get new experiences through a range of activities and contests. They also said; “We want to create new experiences, create new superstars, and produce bigger shows that will captivate players and fans for years to come.”
