Sodapoppin Is Confused At xQc

Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris was taken aback by fellow Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s antics after the latter decided to stream a popular anime, Hunter x Hunter, in the current climate on the purple platform.

Most content creators have backed away from reacting to licensed content after streamers like Pokimane, HasanAbi, and others received DMCA complaints left, right, and center. xQc, on the other hand, has stepped up his reaction streams, and according to Sodapoppin, the former has gone insane.

Sodapoppin received notification from his Twitch chat that his friend and popular juicer, xQc, was watching Hunter x Hunter on his stream during a recent stream. He didn’t trust it at first because of the numerous streamers who had received platform bans for watching licensed content. Later, Chance opened xQc’s stream to check what was going on, and to his surprise, he discovered Felix watching the popular Hunters anime.

Sodapoppin later questioned as to why xQc was viewing the show the day after Pokimane was banned for watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. HasanAbi also received a copyright takedown from Fox Network when he continued to stream MasterChef despite the fact that it was against the rules.

Despite the fact that many streamers have received DMCA complaints and bans for watching licensed content, it appears that those who haven’t been affected yet are unconcerned, and according to Sodapoppin, they don’t mind being suspended. He stated; “You can’t change my mind, all of these streamers want to be banned. Okay they actually want to be banned so they can just retire and their legacy can stay there up-top.”

Fans are in awe of xQc, who continues to disregard any negative consequences of viewing anime on stream. Despite the fact that several Twitch streamers have already been banned, it appears like xQc will milk every last piece of react content before being suspended. It will be interesting to watch how long xQc can keep these streams up on his channel before receiving a complaint. However, given how Twitch has been slapping DMCA complaints on many of its top streamers, it doesn’t appear like the Canadian streamer will be safe.
