‘Shanny For Christ’ Banned

Youtube streamer that goes by the name Shannon Dornbush or her youtube channel name ‘Shanny for Christ’ has now been banned on the platform for violating the site’s child safety policy after a video from her channel showed that her partner was threatening to beat a child. Back in 2019, Shannon was convicted of assaulting her former partner Jason Ergoff after a police report found that she slapped Ergoff across the face before lashing him with a whip.

Now, her main channel has now been removed after a disturbing video of her current partner shows that he was threatening that he will beat one of their children. A twitter user and a reporter of the Business Insider Kat Tenbarge, have posted a series of tweets regarding the issue. At first, Tenbarge showed a Youtube twitter response that claims that Shannon’s initial stream was not violating any of the policies so it will remain on the platform. Eventually on her second twitter post, it shows that the TeamYoutube confirmed that the stream violates their policy and because of this, the content has now been removed from the platform.

However, it seems like Shannon appealed overnight and the stream was reinstated leading her to post a screenshot of her successful appeal with a caption: “ha take that haters.” Kat Tenbarge got in touch with youtube and shortly afterwards she tweeted out; “They removed the video for a second time. Then, for good measure, they terminated Dornbush’s channel.” Shannon further response to Kat Tenbarge’s findings and report in which Tenbarge reveals on twitter showing that Shannon emailed her stating; “btw if you don’t redact this story I’m going to sue the living f**k out of you. YOU ARE ENABLING CRIMINALS AND HATE CULTURE YOU STUPID B**CH.”
