The Twitch streaming platform is undoubtedly the largest live streaming platform these days especially during this pandemic where people are looking for some entertainment in their homes and streamers have kept us entertained. Some female content creators like Pokimane and Valkyrae, among several others, have dominated the charts this year.

Before this year comes to an end, there are 3 top  female content creators and streamers who have been the driving reason behind the growth of the streaming industry. The top 3 female streamers for the year 2020 were Pokimane, Valkyrae and Alanah Pearce. Imane Anys aka Pokimane is a Canadian streamer who started her career by streaming titles like League of Legends and Fortnite but her channel then grew when she added Valorant to her list of games. Pokimane has over 6.7 million followers and over 147 million total views and is the 6th most followed user on Twitch.

Rachell Hofstetter aka Valkyrae is a YouTube streamer with over 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube and over 124 million total views on the platform. Valkyrae is currently a part of the 100 Thieves organization and she has become an advocate for women in gaming and stands as the first female content creator for 100 Thieves. Lastly, Alanah Pearce is an Australian streamer who is a former gaming journalist and a co-host of the popular YouTube channel Funhaus. She now has over half a million subscribers on her YouTube channel with close to 50 million total views.
