Pokimane Slammed YouTube Gaming

One of the most popular Twitch streamers Imane Anys aka Pokimane, slams YouTube Gaming by highlighting some of the issues she’s had recently on the platform.

Pokimane recently defended Twitch in the ongoing streaming wars when YouTube signed Ludwig, a popular Twitch streamer. She also emphasized that YouTube isn’t as all-loving and caring about its streamers as it has been portrayed. Above all, she emphasized YouTube’s retaliatory tactic as to why she chose Twitch over YouTube two years ago. Following that, YouTube allegedly crashed her views and threw her out of the algorithm, according to Pokimane. All of her videos suddenly died, with views dropping from 900,000 per day to 100,000 total views. Pokimane’s call out is a major one, as she’s hinting at the problem.

She stated; “Twitch has so many streamers. Do they care about you? Sure. Are they gonna care about you to the same level as YouTube who’s trying to get their fifth big streamer onto their platform? Of course not. Twitch has much less to lose than YouTube does. It’s like if you are dating a dude and he has like four other girlfriends and you are like the fifth. Whereas if you are dating a dude and you’re gonna be his first girlfriend ever. Like of course he is going to care about you more.” Pokimane pointed out that Twitch has thousands of streamers, whereas YouTube only has a few well-known streamers.

All of this began when Ludwig left Twitch to join YouTube, owing to Twitch’s carelessness. Twitch, according to Ludwig, didn’t appear to give a damn about him or other streamers. Other popular streamers, such as TimTheTatman, later concurred with this statement.

Pokimane has finally spoken up on the move, and she’s siding with Twitch this time. She also revealed YouTube’s darker side, in which the company signed away a slew of incredibly successful and record-breaking Twitch streamers.
