Pokimane Sets personal Record

Imane Anys, known online as Pokimane is one of the most popular Twitch streamers on the platform. She has reached 6.3 million followers on the Twitch platform making her Twitch’s most popular female streamer. She is currently the 6th most followed streamer on Twitch. Twitch streamer Rubious has 6.9 million followers and Myth has 7 million followers on the platform.

The top three most followed are Shroud with 8.4 million followers, Tfue with 9.5 million, and number one, Ninja amassing over 16.1 million followers as of now. Pokimane has always played a variety of big hit games but she has gained a wide range of followers, focusing on playing the rising popular game Among Us, together with fellow streamers DisguisedToast, Sykkuno, Valkyrae and others. Pokimane also joined the recent all star Twitch streaming event together with several other famous streamers and Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, a stream which reached over a half a million viewers, making it one of the 20 most-watched broadcasts ever on the platform.

Imane recently became controversial when she capped her donations at $5, coordinating with Streamlabs to be able to make the $5 maximum donation per user per stream, explaining that anything more than that was unnecessary, asking her fans to send their donations to the small streamers instead. Pokimane thanked her fans for helping her reach a position of financial security, and has encouraged her fans to give less money to the big streamers in general.
