Penguinz0 Fires Shots At DMCA

Charles Xavier White Jr. aka penguinz0 is an American YouTube commentator, Twitch streamer and card collector who has received attention for his dry humor and repetition of the usage of the words ‘nipple’ and ‘titties’, which has become synonymous with his character. He is also known by the name as Cr1TiKaL, Big Moist, moistcr1tikal, and GreaseBall. Streamer Penguinz0 recently released a controversial video on his YouTube channel regarding the recent issue about the DMCA takedown strikes.

U.S. senator Thom Tillis recently promoted a new law that will charge felony jail time for streamers caught using copyrighted music on their stream. Many streamers and personalities have shared their opinions and concerns about this, including penguinz0 who posted out on his twitter account saying; “Imagine going to jail because you played Call of Duty on stream and someone was playing Billie Eilish over the mic in game #stopDMCA”.

He also released a video with the title ‘Going to jail for DMCA strike’ and in the video, he went on to compare the music industry to a private military group, where their methodologies are barbaric, archaic, and outdated.

He also mentioned the newly released game Cyberpunk 2077 as an example where the game’s soundtrack could potentially cause a DMCA strike. Then at the end, he eventually encouraged people on Twitter to use #stopDMCA hoping that changes will occur. The community is expressing their support.
