OfflineTV Members Visit Arcane’s Debut

Twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane has recently paid a visit to Riot Games Headquarters as part of OfflineTV to see the Arcane debut. In a recent vlog discussing the subject, she claimed that four or five years ago, nothing was more important to her than working at Riot. She stated; “Not gonna lie, like 4-5 years ago, I basically wanted to work at Riot.”

However, she seems to have had a great time as a guest at the Riot Games-hosted Netflix premiere of Arcane, a League of Legends-themed film.

The 25-year-old attended the Arcane premiere at Riot Games Headquarters on November 6th. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the gaming and streaming industries. This is the first time a major OTT platform, such as Netflix, has teamed up with the gaming industry to produce a show based on a video game character. Because Arcane is set in the League of Legends universe, Riot asked a number of major streaming platforms to broadcast the premiere live.

Pokimane was there as part of her streaming group, OfflineTV. The RTS CCO vlogged the entire event, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the OTV members getting ready for the event, as well as some adorable moments they shared at the premiere. The streamer received numerous praises on her attire, which appeared to be a show-stopper, and she couldn’t stop herself from flaunting it on social media, including Twitter.

Pokimane also took her fans on a tour of Riot Headquarters, displaying many of the city’s most famous landmarks. For example, she had a wall full of framed paintings that fans had sent to Riot in the hopes of receiving the 1 RP needed to unlock a specific skin.

Overall, the Canadian had a great night at the Arcane premiere, and she shared her thoughts afterward. She stated that this was a significant moment in the gaming business. She did, however, take advantage of the chance to promote OfflineTV. Pokimane proposed that Netflix create a new series about a bunch of streamers that live together and stream together, with characters named “Poki, Lily, Toast, Scarra, Yvonne, Michael, and so many other friends,” according to Pokimane.
