Popular Youtube personality Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has recently accused the mukbang Youtuber Nikocado Avocado of “blatantly promoting obesity.”

Kjellberg chose to check out other YouTubers who specialize in mukbang videos in a video posted on December 8th. These creators film or live stream themselves eating a significant amount of food while chatting with the viewers.

Nikocado Avocado, a former vegan who chose to shake things up after claiming that the group was too “toxic,” is one of those creators. PewDiePie accused Nikocado of blatantly promoting obesity with his videos while discussing the creator.

He wanted to check in with Nikocado to see how he was doing three years after making a video about mukbangs, as he was one of the creators listed in his initial video. PewDiePie commented after seeing a handful of quick videos; “Nikocado [Avocado] is the American final boss of mukbangs.”

He then continued to explain his feelings about those eating so much food stating; “I hate it, it grosses me out. People like it, but anything YouTube-related is going to be exploited to the max. I’m not saying YouTube needs to do anything about it, they just need to observe how it works. They’re blatantly promoting obesity. I know the creators aren’t condoning it, especially Nikocado — but kids are impressionable.”

PewDiePie noted that he might have a “funny conclusion” by going from his current weight to incredibly slim after recalling that the YouTuber said he would stop when he hit 30.

This isn’t the first time Nikocado has been called out for eating. On September 29, MoistCr1tikal posted a video titled “This YouTuber is Slowly Killing Himself for Views,” which generated health worries about the creator. For now, Avocado has yet to respond to PewDiePie’s comments.
