Youtube star and philanthropist Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast is planning a live-action rendition of the Netflix Original Series Squid Game, which could be his biggest YouTube challenge yet.

For those who didn’t know, The Squid Game series follows a group of poor contestants as they seek to overcome poverty by completing several obstacles. Those who succeed will amass unimaginable wealth, while those who fail will die trying.

Of course, we doubt MrBeast’s version will involve contestants fighting to the death, but given the high stakes of MrBeast’s previous challenges, which included a $500,000 game of Tag and a $100,000 bank heist challenge, we’re confident that a Squid Game YouTube challenge will arguably see the highest reward of any MrBeast challenge yet.

MrBeast’s most recent TikTok video, posted on October 11th, stated that if the video received 10 million likes, he would replicate Squid Games in real life. MrBeast’s TikTok video has already achieved the required amount of likes, despite the fact that it was only uploaded 13 hours ago.

While he has yet to confirm that he will be bringing the acclaimed Netflix Original Series to reality, we anticipate an announcement or update very soon.
