More VODs Deleted Due to DMCA

Nick Kolcheff Nickmercs is one of the most popular American Twitch streamers and a YouTuber for FaZe Clan who plays Fortnite: Battle Royale and Call of Duty: Warzone. Due to the DMCA copyright strike, people like TimTheTatman, DrLupo, xQc, Pokimane and others have chosen to delete everything on their channel to avoid any future DMCA issues and potential bans. However, despite all the DMCA strikes on Twitch streamers, Twitch is giving everyone a chance to comply.

Most streamers who have been banned from DMCA, including SquishyMuffinz, have been quickly unbanned in order to delete their content. But the general rule is three DMCA strikes and the channel is permanently banned on the platform. Furthermore, in the past live broadcasts of Twitch streamer Nickmercs, he argued over whether or not he needed to delete all of his clips and VOD’s like other streamers. Nickmercs claimed that he was going to text TimTheTatman that he shouldn’t delete and that he had insider information, but Tim had already deleted all of his content.

Nickmercs tweeted out that he will be deleting all of his clips and VOD’s on his Twitch channel because he was hit with a DMCA on his channel. He tweeted out; “Got smacked with the ole DMCA today. Can’t say I’m surprised, lowkey was askin’ for it. No trip to bora bora for your boy unfortunately & everything will have to be deleted tonight. GG’s, sugma, P&L”. Like every Twitch streamer, he will also be deleting all of his content in order to comply with DMCA strike.
